Patrons can currently set a few search preferences including default scope and preferred library, but it would be useful to be able to set additional filters, including format and language. For example, if some patrons are normally only interested in regular print books in English, having these filters on whenever they are logged in would greatly declutter their search results. These should display in the search results as selected, so they can dismiss them any time they want to search for something else.
