This multi-year, 10-sprint project aims to transition the Acquisitions module to the Angular framework, adding various workflow improvements and new functionalities.

Sprint 0 – Infrastructure and tool-building

Functional Specifications: Sprint 0 Specs by Equinox Open Library Initiative are licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0

Features: Adoption of JavaScript library for monetary calculations, adding filtering and refreshing capabilities to client grids, improvements to the combobox widget, implementing support for cross-tab communications, and a new help popover widget.

Status: Complete and implemented in Evergreen 3.4

Sprint 1 – Providers

Features: Angularizes the providers interface of the Acquisitions Administration module

Status: Complete as of 9/3/2020 3.6 release

Sprint 2 – Administration

Features: Angularizes the remainder of the Acquisitions Administration module, including funds and currency management.

Sprint 3 – Search

Features: Creates new Angularized search interfaces for acquisitions data.

Sprint 4 – Purchase Orders & Line Item Management

Features: Creates new Angularized purchase order and line item interfaces for acquisitions data in conjunction with work done by Bill Erickson of KCLS.

Status: Bugfixing complete; slated for 3.10 release

Sprint 5-9

Sprints 5-9 were re-evaluated after the acceptance of the Sprint 4 specifications based on time passed and work done on various features by community developers in the interstitial time period.  The following features originally addressed in these sprints were reorganized into 3 sprints – A, B & C.  That review is viewable here.
