Currently there are many instances in which the title in the OPAC is truncated, hiding the statement of responsibility. This is a problem both because of the inconsistency but also because often the statement of responsibility (i.e the 245c) contains information that appears nowhere else on the record. In the case of foreign names it is often the only place where the name appears in a form that patrons will recognize.
