    During his tenure at Indiana State Library, Jason Boyer put together a proposal to make changes to the Evergreen database related to billing with the following goals:

    • Add/remove payment types easily
    • Track payment types applied to specific bills and billing types
    • Allow finer grained permissions on payments
    • Track “who” owns individuals billings and is owed the payments toward them
    • Allow some types of bills to be prioritized over other

    More reporting headaches rolling in today that would be fixed with this development.

    Yes. It seems like the best we can do right now is extrapolate some approximation of granularity in terms of billing types, etc. From an actual bookkeeping standpoint, fixes/development to billing need to happen.
